We loved our Nov 2013 cruise so much we booked another this Nov. Where can I got the Holiday Magnets everyone had on their door. Can you order them before you board the ship, or is that something to do on our own. and If so do you have any info? TY

Welcome back, Tonnesha! I'm so happy to hear that your family had such a magical experience on your Disney cruise last fall!

The magnets you saw on guests' stateroom doors were creations those guests made on their own. In fact, my family does this each time we sail too. Not only does it make our stateroom door more festive, but it certainly makes it a lot easier to know which door is ours as we wander down those long hallways of identical doors!

My suggestion is to create a design using clipart you find online, then personalize it in a photo program with your names. Alternately, you might do a search for Disney Cruise Line clipart. Some fan sites create all sorts of fun cruise-themed designs that guests use, then add their family name. Then, once you have saved your unique designs on your computer, simply print them out on magnetic paper. A tip that will help is to purchase the heaviest weight magnetic printer paper you can find, as some of the cheaper flimsy magnetic sheets tend to fall off the doors. Believe me, I know from experience! Another surefire way to ensure that the magnets stay in place is to simply print your designs on paper or cardstock and then laminate them and stick magnets on the back. This holds the designs much better, I think. Disney asks that no other adhesives be used on the doors, so as not to damage them, so stick with magnets and magnetic paper only.

I hope those details help as you create these fun details for your next cruise, Tonnesha! Stop back again if you have other questions this year before you set sail again! Happy planning!
