We loved our DCL Bahamas cruise with our 9 and 11 yr old boys. Any suggestions on which of the 3 European cruises would be best in Summer of 2014? Pros/Cons of more Greek vs. more Italian ports, please. I would love to book soon - but we can't decide!

Welcome aboard, Rebecca! Disney Cruise Line's Mediterranean sailings are amazing opportunities for your whole family to travel, relax, play and learn quite a bit! I loved my time in the Mediterranean with Disney Cruise Line last summer!

It sounds like you're looking at the three different 12-night sailings. I can highly recommend the 12-Night Itinerary C, which departs from Barcelona and This particular itinerary includes quite a few amazing stops in Italy, but also allows guests to experience the Greek Isles and Dubrovnik, Croatia, before concluding in Venice, Italy. Venice is a must-do in my opinion!

The Greek Isles are stunning to say the least. I love the relaxed culture there and the crystal waters of the Aegean Sea. You'll find quite a few really exciting Port Adventures there. The food was amazing, and I even became hooked on octopus, something which I never would have thought to try before visiting the Greek Isles. What an opportunity for your kids to experience such unique cultures and cuisines!

Finally, Dubrovnik was a once-in-a-lifetime port stop for me. That is someplace I never would have thought to visit on my own without this port stop, however it was one of my favorites. The Silk Heritage adventure was my favorite! It was such a wonderful cultural experience and includes a unique opportunity for the kids to make their own Croatian craft before heading out to explore the gorgeous and historical Old City of Dubrovnik.

You can't go wrong with either of the three 12-night itineraries, but since I personally experienced Itinerary C, I certainly can highly recommend it, Rebecca! Have fun planning and let me know if I can help with anything else as before you set sail next summer! Watch the Disney Cruise Line website too, because I hosted a series of videos about the European ports with DCL and those will be out soon, so you can get a glimpse into the amazing adventures in store for your family on a Disney Mediterranean cruise!
