Hi! I would love for my whole family (DH, DS & DS) and I to all dress up in pirate garb on pirate night for our Fantasy cruise in Oct, but don't want to be one of the few adults dressing up. How many adults actually dress up with their kids for this?

Welcome back, Mary! Pirate Night is such fun onboard the Disney ships. Families get dressed up before dinner to head to a pirate-themed meal then up on deck for games, parties, a show and fireworks - what fun!

My family enjoys getting dressed up for Pirate Night each time we sail. When we first set sail, I was a bit nervous about my husband and I being the only adults dressed up, but boy were we wrong! There are tons of adults in pirate gear. Everything from full costumes to a more simple hat and sword were seen on grown-ups throughout the ship. Now, I have no hesitations about getting all dressed up along with the kids for this fun night! While I can't guarantee how the adults on your particular sailing will dress, I am sure that there will be many in full costume and quite a few on top of that sporting their scallywag accessories.

So, dress up as much as you feel comfortable, but don't hesitate to go all out, Mary! You'll have more fun and it sure makes for some great photos with the Disney characters who will be dressed in their pirate costumes that night as well! No matter what, each guest will be given a Mickey's Pirates IN The Caribbean bandana to wear that night.

Enjoy this planning time before your cruise, and let me know if I can help with any other questions before you set sail!
