We love WDW. Our family has been many times and once was picked to be the opening family. I heard there was a ceremony for "putting the castle to sleep" about 30 minutes after closing time. Can you give me details?

Hello and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Kiss Goodnight is a wonderfully magical moment that occurs most nights after Magic Kingdom Park closes. This special "goodnight kiss" from the Magic Kingdom begins with Cinderella Castle sparkling as When You Wish Upon A Star plays. A greeting will soon begin and Guests will be thanked for visiting the park. Listen closely and you may even hear a message from a very special Mouse. The Kiss Goodnight is one of my favorite ways to end a day in Walt Disney World. For an overview with excellent photos, search for "The Kiss Goodnight" on DisneyTouristBlog.com. I hope your family is able to enjoy this special moment during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Have a magical day,
