    Love my vacations at Disney and using the dining plans. Is there anywhere to get one of those gourmet chocolate caramel pecan coated apples? If so would it be considered a snack item on the dining plan? Thanks for always answering my questions *smiles*

    Hi Lisa,

    There are gourmet apples EVERYWHERE at Walt Disney World. While I haven't specifically seen a chocolate, caramel, pecan version, there are definitely chocolate, caramel, peanut apples. As well as dozens of other varieties, many decorated to look like Disney characters, and also a "create your own" gourmet apple station.

    Many shops in the parks have special apples, but here are some of the key places:

    - The Confectionery on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom
    - Under the circus tent in New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom (often you'll see apples being decorated)
    - Sweet Spells in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    - Karamell Kuche in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot
    - Candy Cauldron at Downtown Disney

    Be sure to visit Goofy's Candy Company in the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney. They have a station where you can choose your own apple toppings (white, dark, or milk chocolate, caramel, sprinkles, nuts, cookie bits, marshmallows, etc.) and they make it white you wait. This is my husband's favorite spot at Disney World!

    Unfortunately the apples are not part of the Disney Dining Plan. The apple prices vary depending on their complexity. Most sell for between $7.00 and $10.00 depending on the number of ingredients.
