HI, Love the site! Heading to Magic Kingdom in late March and planning on getting there at 8:30 AM. We need to rent a stroller and wondering if it is a long process. I know the park opens at 9 AM, can you rent a stroller prior to 9 AM? Thanks

    Hi Maryellen.

After three boys and countless trips, I feel like a stroller rental veteran. You will be happy to know the Disney parks are also veterans at this stroller rental process. Although the stroller rental lines can be long, especially when the park is first opening, the Cast Members do a great job of moving the rental process along quickly and painlessly. Most days at Magic Kingdom you will be able to pre-purchase your stroller rental prior to entering the bag check line. Often there are Cast Members standing near the bag check , where you can pre-pay and receive a stroller voucher. Once inside the gates, proceed to the area under the train tracks at the front entrance. If you have pre-paid outside the gates, you can show your voucher and pick up your stroller and be on your way. If you have not pre-paid, there will be a seperate line for payments.

It does tend to get quite crowded in the stroller area so I suggest having one person get the stroller and meet the other family members inside the park, just be sure to decide on a meeting spot before you seperate. Another option you may want to consider, if you are renting strollers for multiple days, is to pay for your entire rental on the first day. You will recieve a voucher for each day of your visit. This option will allow you to skip standing in the payment line each day. Remember to save your receipt and voucher each day. If you leave one park and visit another in the same day, all you need to do is show these items at the next park to receive another stroller for no additional cost.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
