    love your site!!! we have a free dining package booked for the end of august, at check in can I upgrade to annual passes without loosing my free dining? thanks

    Hi Stacie! YAY!!! Congratulations on being able to book a Walt Disney World vacation with a free dining promotion! We usually head to WDW during late August and find it to be a wonderful time, with less crowds we are able to enjoy the parks to the fullest! You can absolutely upgrade your tickets to an annual pass without losing your FD benefits. Having done this on our previous trips, I can speak with authority. You would have to check in to your resort and receive your KTTW cards first. Upgrades can only be done at the guest services desk at any theme park of your choice. Once you arrive, you can indicate to the guest services cast member that you are interested in upgrading to an AP, and they will apply the cost of your ticket towards the cost of your AP, and you are responsible for the difference. There have been times, though not many, that they have had glitches with some cards. In that case, they will work with you to make sure that your FD promo does link to your KTTW, and you will receive a separate SP ticket. Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
