Love the site. Going on the DCLMagic in April have a couple of ?'s: 1. What is the disembark process? Do I need 2 arrange transportation to airport and what time? 2. Does the DCL provide airline check-in and take your bags like WDW Resorts?

Welcome aboard, Manuel! Congratulations on booking your Disney Magic cruise for next spring! You're in for such fun and lots of magic (pardon the pun!) on your sailing!

I highly suggest you book Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation. This is available between the airport and cruise port, both ways. There is an additional cost of $35 per person each way, but I promise that letting Disney take care of all of the details really makes things so much smoother and easier! You'll just need to be sure your flight home isn't scheduled until after 11:30 a.m.

If you take advantage of this ground transportation, you'll also have access to the onboard airline check-in and luggage option. I love that Disney guests sailing out of Port Canaveral have this easy option. Simply fill out the onboard airline check-in documents that you'll receive in your booklet of documents before you set sail. Turn this in when you check in at Port Canaveral before boarding the ship. Then, the night before disembarkation, you'll leave your luggage with appropriate tags outside your stateroom to be picked up. The following morning, simply have a nice breakfast and disembark.

Disembarkation usually begins around 7:30 a.m. once the ship has been cleared. Guests must disembark by 9:00 a.m. You'll be assigned one of two breakfast dining times, or you can stop at the buffet at your leisure. Then, head off the ship, go through customs, and board the motorcoach for your transportation back to the airport. Motorcoaches to the airport will be available for guests who purchased this transfer, and will be leaving on an ongoing basis until all guests have disembarked. You won't see your bags until you arrive back at your home airport. The airlines will take control of your bags from the port, so you don't have to worry about lugging them around. What a convenience this is!

Manuel, please stop back again if you have any other questions!
