Hello, Love this sight! I am planning a trip the end of March for just myself (40ish) w/o my family. I want to make it a quiet retreat of sorts. Any suggestions of quiet places ,not in the parks?

Sounds like your planning a lovely, relaxing vacation, Dawn! There is so much for you to enjoy. One of the first things you might want to consider is booking yourself a relaxing spa treatment or two. There are many fabulous spas on Disney property, click here for more information.

I can easily spend a day strolling through the shops at Downtown Disney. You can enjoy a drink overlooking the water, and treat yourself to some fabulous dining. Although not quiet, I also love the Boardwalk with its upbeat, party vibe.

Another one of my favourite things is exploring the other resorts on Disney property. There are great restaurants, and it's a great way to choose where you want to stay for your next vacation.

I know you mentioned not visiting the parks, but if you do consider going to one, taking one of the many backstage tours is a great thing to do while travelling solo.

    Have a fantastic vacation Dawn!
