    I love you previous answers about dining. We were planning on purchasing the dining plan, but I have just lost my p/t job and need to save. If I purchase the quick service plan, how much extra $ should I plan on? (2 adults, 18yr, 10, &

    You really can be smart with how you spend your money, without taking away any of the magic. Here are my tips;

    • Ship to your hotel a box of dry foods that can get you through snacks and breakfast. Think cereal, bagged snack, etc.
    • With these supplies, plan on having breakfast in the room every day. Save your quick service dining credits for lunches and dinners where their value goes further. Buy juices and milk at the resort food court.
    • Take snacks to the parks with you.
    • Use your refillable Resort Mug that you get with that dining plan as often as you can. You paid for it, after all!
    • Take water bottles to the park and refill them in water fountains.

    So to answer your question (finally!), you can get your out-of-pocket spending down very low, to almost nothing. Costs that you should consider include alcoholic beverages, milk and juice in the morning, and any in-park beverages or snacks. Consider some desert money to make the evenings a bit special too!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
