Love the panel!!Upcoming visit WDW-1st visit, bday, just married, honeymoon.Super excited! Are binoculars recommended?[Maybe for Animal Kingdom or Characters in Flight]? Any specific type or night vision binoculars recommended? THANX A MILLION!

    Hi Gitanjali,

You are packing in a ton of celebrations on this trip! I do not know where to start congratulating you! Happy Everything!! Make sure you note all those wonderful events in your dining and room reservations. Also, grab a celebration pin (or four) from the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort or at any of the shops or kiosks in the parks.

Binoculars are not needed for Disney's Animal Kingdom. The animals often hold up traffic while touring Kilimanjaro Safaris that binoculars would let you see the hair on a rhinoceros in the middle of the road. Of course if you want to bring them, you can and night vision are not necessary.

If you want to see animals with night vision goggles, head to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and the guides there will lend you a pair to see the animals. Enjoy dinner at Jiko-the Cooking Place, Sanaa or Boma-Flavors of Africa before heading to see the animals.

For Characters in Flight, it really depends on what you want to see. You can see a good distance on a clear day.

Personally, I would save the space in my suitcase for cool souvenirs on the return!

    Wishing you a magical day!
