Love the panel, we will be wanting to travel on Disney transportation between Chef Mickey's and the Fort Wilderness Lodge during early December. What is the best mode of transportation for a mbility challenged person in a scooter?

Hi there Stephen! Thank you so much for the kind words! It truly is a pleasure to assist guests with all of their Walt Disney World vacation planning questions! I called Disney's Wilderness Lodge directly just now to verify my information for you. Although there is direct boat transportation from Disney's WIlderness Lodge to Disney's Contemporary Resort, unfortunately, the blue flag motor launch is not handicap accessible and cannot accommodate scooters. With that being said, there is a red flag motor cruiser that services Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Wilderness Lodge which can accommodate scooters. You could either take the red flag motor cruiser or bus transportation to Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to the monorail or use the walkway to DIsney's Contemporary Resort. I would personally suggest taking the red flag motor cruiser to Magic Kingdom Park as the view traveling on Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon is quite beautiful and relaxing. The walkway from Magic Kingdom Park would most likely be your quickest and easiest route to the Contemporary Resort. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical and merry December trip, Stephen!
