    LOVE MOM'S PANEL! Q1) If we take walkway from Boardwalk area to Epcot (with a 4 y.o.), how long should we plan for it to take? Will we end up close to Akershus? Q2) Will we be able to view the Epcot fireworks from Akershus with ADR at 8:00 on 8/30/12?

    Thanks so much for the compliment on the panel! It is our absolutely pleasure to assist guests with planning their vacation to the most magical place on earth!

    I stayed at the Boardwalk Resort recently and it only takes about 15 minutes to get from your room to the back entrance of Epcot. You will enter Epcot by the World Showcase in between the UK and France. Norway (where Akershus is located) is on the other side of the World Showcase, but you can get to it fairly quickly by either taking the boat across the Seven Seas Lagoon or walking around the World Showcase. You can view Illluminations near the Norway area, but you can't see the fireworks from inside of Akershus. If your ADR is at 8:00 and Illuminations is at 9:00, you may have time to finish dinner prior to going outside and seeing Illuminations. You won't be able to score a great seat or location, given that some people snag a great spot hours prior to the show, but you will be able to see it from that general area.
