I love your panel and have used it to research our many trips of the years. Wel be traveling with our 8 month old in July. Would you suggest staying at the WL or Poly? We've stayed at WL but this is our 1st trip with an infant. Thank you!! hope to hear

    Hi there Samantha!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's truly a pleasure to assist guests with all of their Walt Disney World vacation planning questions!

I have personally stayed at both Disney's Polynesian Resort and DIsney's Wilderness Lodge several times and love the unique theming, fun recreational activities, and great dining locations that you will find at both of these Disney Deluxe Resorts! With that being said, I would suggest staying at the Polynesian Resort since you will be traveling with an infant. My family recently stayed at this tropical paradise and loved being able to travel to Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, and the Magic Kingdom Resorts via monorail. As a mom of four children, I can assure you that you will love being able to let your infant stay in his/her stroller on the monorail.Being able to easily travel back to the resort for those midday naps is a huge benefit of this location. We loved the spacious guest room accommodations, which includes a large bathroom. You would definitely have plenty of room for a Pack 'n Play or crib, while still having adequate space to comfortably move about the guest room. Another benefit of this resort location is being able to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach at night. If you think you may take a dip in the pool to cool off from the warm weather in July, the Nanea Volcano Pool features a zero-degree entry point and there is a water play area nearby.

My family loves to dine at 'Ohana and Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. An additional bonus is having so many other amazing dining locations that are just a short monorail ride away. Although you can't go wrong with either of these beautiful resorts, I don't think you can beat the location and monorail access when staying at the Polynesian Resort. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
