LOVE THIS PANEL!!! Do you have any tips on how to make reservations for Ohanas in Sept.? Made my other reservations but some how over looked this when I called, now I keep trying to get any time for dinner but nothing avail.? We are staying @ the hotel?

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Really, the only advice I can give you is to keep trying. I would call back at least once a week (407-WDW-DINE) to see if anything opens up. People do cancel reservations all the time and, if you're in the right place at the time (in the phone queue that is), you can capitalize on this by snagging someone else's cancelation. This can even be successful while you're actually on your vacation at Disney World. There have been several times that I've been able to get a last minute phone reservation for a meal while I was at WDW. Just push the Disney Dining button on your resort room phone to do this.

I did not get one of the reservations I wanted when I recently make my advance dining reservations for my upcoming trip in November. My plan is to call back twice a week or so on the off chance that something becomes available.

Another thing you could try is going up to the podium of the restaurant and attempting to dine as a walk-in. I have sometimes, but not always, been successful with this too. I've had the best luck by showing up at the restaurant several minutes before the earliest seating and offering to wait around a bit until something becomes available. If you're willing to be patient this can work too.

    Good luck!
