    Technically, no, Ariel's Grotto is not open during the Magic Kingdom's Extra Magic Hours. I have, however, found that sometimes attractions that are not on the "official" open list for a park may actually remain open for a little while after standard hours, so definitely go by to visit. You might get lucky!

    As for other characters, you should find some still in the parks. All you need to do is ask a cast member the who's and where's and they can fill you in. Also the daily times guides will help as well. You can get those where you pick up a park map as you enter. You will find that the number of characters diminishes quickly, but you should see a few.
