Love the panel. We are taking our first Disney cruise in December out of Florida but I am wondering how the water is at the beaches. We want to do maybe a dolphin show but not sure how the water will be..will it be cold or warm during Christmas time?

Welcome aboard, Nancy! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney! This December sounds like the perfect time to escape the cold and head south to the Caribbean and Bahamas!

My family has sailed with Disney in January and February the past two years and has always found the temperatures to be wonderful that time of year on the islands. Now, keep in mind, I'm coming from chilly Ohio where we're usually leaving snow behind to set sail, so I may view warm a bit differently than you do!

That being said, my kids have enjoyed playing in the water at the beaches and have never complained about it being too cold. I tend to get cold in the water even when it's hot out, but this past January I really enjoyed the water temperature in the Caribbean on our sailing. I was in the ocean quite a bit and was very comfortable. Of course, it's always a bit chilly if you jump right in, but with the hot weather we were experiencing on the islands, the water was very refreshing.

While I'm not a meteorologist to be able to predict what the weather will be like this coming December, I am willing to bet you will find the temperatures very comfortable and the water cool but refreshing. Guests enjoy these dolphin swim adventures all year round, so don't hesitate to book one!

Please let me know if you have further questions as you continue to plan your exciting cruise, Nancy! I'm happy to help!
