Love the panel! We are staying at WL Nov29-Dec3 w/ a 4day PH and have a down day built into our intinerary, 2 adults, 2 boys 5 & 8. What are some of the better single credit dining options we have for resort dining? We love good food!

Hi Tia! When I'm planning my Walt Disney World vacations, I think I spend most of my time deciding on my dining reservations. Like you, my family loves good food, and Disney has some fantastic restaurants! There are lots of great dining options outside the parks that will cost you only one table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

Since you're staying at the Wilderness Lodge, the Whispering Canyon Cafe would be a convenient choice. The quirky servers make dinner there a fun experience. The all-you-care-to-eat Canyon Skillets are the big draw for most guests, but I'm partial to the Quinoa Cakes.

One of my family's favorite restaurants is 'Ohana at the Polynesian. Your boys would love the coconut races and limbo games, and you'll be stunned at the amount of tasty food your server will bring to your table!

If you're all adventurous eaters, consider Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This buffet has unique African-inspired dishes (as well as standard fare for pickier eaters), and after dinner you could stroll out to the savanna overlook to spot the giraffes and zebras with the night-vision goggles.

On days you're not visiting the parks, Downtown Disney is always a fun destination for shopping and dining. My family loves the salads and gourmet pizzas at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe there.

Finally, a character meal is always a fun. Consider breakfast at Chef Mickey's or the Cape May Cafe, where the characters will visit your table during your meal. My son loves that he can eat Rice Krispie treats for breakfast at Chef Mickey's!

Have a magical vacation! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'm happy to help!
