    Love the panel. Staying at Poly. Going to Epcot for extra magic morning hours. Does the Monorail run? Been hearing a lot about it not running during EMH. How about at night? If not how do we get to Epcot/MK for EMH morning and back after EMH night?

    Hi Ann,

    I was just at the Polynesian in December for a week! I really love staying at this resort as it reminds me of Hawaii.

    The monorail does run for Extra Magic Hours in the morning and the evening. This makes it convenient to get back and forth to the resort. It starts one hour prior and one hour after the park closes.

    When we stayed at the Polynesian, we were in the Rapa Nui lodge which was the closest to the Ticket & Transportation Center. This is where we caught the monorail to and from Epcot. It is a short walk and it was also great to return to this stop after a day a Magic Kingdom or dinner at the Contemporary.

    As I always recommend, check with cast members at your resort for any changes in the transportation options as schedules are subject to change.
