Love the panel! Our son will be 23 months when we vacation. Do you think he will be too young for a character meal?

As long as your son is comfortable with the characters, then a character meal is great idea. You will see many, many toddlers and preschoolers at just about every character meal at WDW. I think that the character buffets are particularly great for smaller children. Because of the buffet, it is perfectly normal for people to be up and down during the meal, so that if your son is restless, you can just get up for a moment. Buffets are also good because the child can see the food choices in advance and can choose exactly what he wants. There are no issues for picky eaters.

Our first trip to WDW with our oldest was when she not quite two years old. Character meals were her favorite part of that trip. She loved posing for photos (she's a ham) and the characters were real rock stars for her. I don't know who enjoyed it more, me or her.
