    Hi, love the panel, I read it EVERYDAY! =] We will be in Disney from Dec 2-8, 2010. When is the taping of the Christmas parade for ABC? If it will be taped while we're there can we watch it or would we need special tickets? Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the compliments on the panel! I know all of us on the panel are really enjoying answering questions!!

    The Christmas Parade taping is usually held the first weekend of December. Most often events are held Thursday through Saturday, with Sunday being a "backup" day- in case of poor weather. Usually, Main Street Parade portion and Magic Kingdom shows are filmed on Saturday morning. But again, this can vary based on the weather.

    While details aren't released for this year yet, tickets are normally available to Annual Passholders. When events are not full, walk-ups may be available but this is actually pretty rare.

    If you're in the Magic Kingdom during the morning of the parade on Main Street you may be able to watch portions of the taping as you move around the park. The taping actually takes quite a bit of time. It will be filmed in multiple takes, from multiple angles, so you may see portions repeated. Even a filming of a singing performance may take a few hours!
