Love the panel! quick ?. We will be at WDW Aug.17-Aug.22 wondering can I rent a wheelchair or electric scooter for my mother? If so how much r they each day?

As a first step, I would go to the website allearsnet.com. Click on the search button (near the top right) and search for an article called "Wheelchair/Scooter/Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) FAQ." This will give you some good basic information on the mobility assistance situation at Disney World, including rental locations and pricing.

If the Disney option does not seem right for you, there are many private companies that rent wheelchairs and ECVs in the Orlando area. Most will pick up and deliver right to your hotel. I personally do not have any experience with any particular company, so I can't make a specific recommendation. However, I will tell you that many of the non-Disney scooters I've seen in the parks are from Buena Vista Scoot Rentals (buenavistascooter.com). That's probably a good place to start your investigation. Then if you Google "Disney wheelchair rental" you'll find many more options.

Another resource you should look for is a book called PassPorter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World. This is the definitive guide for anyone visiting WDW with any sort of physical issue. The potential challenges with each attraction are described in great detail. You can get this book at Amazon.com or from major booksellers.

I hope you and your mom both have a lovely trip to WDW.
