    LOVE THIS PANEL!!! .. I will be at Port Orleans French Feb. 7-12. is it true the pool is closed??? how far to Riverside?? Should I try to switch to Riverside?? Can we walk?? kids range from 1.5 yrs -5 Thanks Judy

    Hi Judy! Thanks for the kind words.  We love answering your questions! I have searched and can't find anywhere that the Port Orleans French Quarter Pool is closed.  I did find that the Port Orleans Riverside Alligator Bayoo quiet pool will be closed for rehab Feb 23-March 6, 2009, which won't affect your trip dates at all.

    The slide at the French Quarter is perfect for kids your children's ages. The walk to Riverside is a lovely one, and guests staying at the Port Orleans can enjoy both hotel pools, so your family might enjoy the stroll or hop on the Riverboat.
