I love this panel! Can you please tell me if you can trade in unused counter service credit from the DDP for snacks ? I heard some resturants provide receipes for some of the food served, do you know if they have the nutrional value also?

Hi, Traci!  Thanks for coming to the Moms Panel with your planning questions!

You cannot use the counter service credits for snacks, but you can get a counter service meal to go!  If you find yourself nearing the end of your trip with extra counter service credits, stop on your way back to your resort for a meal that you can take back with you; or you can go to the food court the day you leave and get a counter service meal to take with you on the airplane.

I'm afraid that there is not a database of nutritional information for the food served at Walt Disney World.  You can absolutely get a recipe pretty much everywhere, and if you have a question about ingredients in something, they can very easily get that information for you.  What they do not have is calorie count, fat content, the real nuts and bolts type of information.  You can find some of that information for some foods online - like the Dolewhip and the Mickey ice cream bars - but you won't find very much with regard to a meal at a restaurant.  The menus change too frequently for them to keep a good list with all of the information!
