I love this panel!!!! I know you get many stroller questions, but one more please! I have a 3 1/2 yo, in your opinion, is it still better to bring my own? I would have to buy one, and I am sure that she won't be in it all the time.

Prices can change, but as of April 2008, single stroller rental prices at WDW were $15 per day or $13 per day for a length of stay rental. I just went on amazon.com and found several umbrella-style strollers  for sale in the $20-30 range. You could likely find one for even a few dollars less at a garage sale or your local Walmart. You can do the math on how long you'll be vacationing at WDW and how much you'd spend if you were renting strollers vs. if you purchased one.

But cost savings isn't even the best reason to bring your own stroller. The rental strollers can only be used in the theme parks. In my experience, the stroller is indispensable in many other situations as well. The stroller is a lifesaver at the airport. Often gates are great distances from the check-in point. Even if your child isn't in the stroller, you could use it as a cart for your carry-ons. But the place you could need a stroller the most is at your resort. Depending on where you're staying, your hotel room could be a 5-7 minute walk from the food court, bus stop, gift shop area. At the end of a long day of park touring, the very last thing I want to be doing is carrying a sweaty, sleeping child from the bus to the room.

Many people do choose to rent strollers at WDW, but in my mind, bringing your own is a no-brainer.
