    Love this panel!! I'm thinking about buying an annual pass & I'm a little confused. Heather says you get an exchange cert. in the mail & your pass gets activated on your 1st use if you buy online but Erin says it activates the day you purchase it.

    My bad. That was an incorrect answer on my part that slipped through the cracks on the correction process. I've now set the correction process in motion so other guests won't be confused as you were. So sorry.

    Heather is absolutely right. If you purchase an annual pass online or on the phone you are mailed a certificate that must be redeemed at the parks for the actual pass. This is the point at which your one year of use clock starts ticking. The best source of all annual pass information is the annual pass office at Disney itself. They can be reached at 407-560-PASS. Another great source of information is the website allearsnet.com. If you search there for an article called "Tickets: Annual Passes." They have a full explanation of the voucher/ticket exchange issue.

    Again, sorry for the confusion and thanks for the help with the fact-checking.
