Hi!! LOVE your panel!! Very helpfull helping to plan our oct WDW vacation. We wanted to know if for Character dining(ex: Crystal Palace for breakfast)one absolutely need a reservation? Is there any slight chance of going early & maybe still get in?Thx

Hi, Manon!  I will tell you that I am a never say never kind of girl.  There is always a chance you could walk up to a character meal and get a table.  However, if you really want to make it to a character meal, I can't recommend highly enough that you book an advanced dining reservation.  Especially if you are going during a free dining period, the Walt Disney World restaurants can be booked solid, and while you might luck into a last minute cancellation, there is a better chance that there won't be a table available.

I will say, my husband has the best luck with the last minute character meal, and the Crystal Palace is one of his favorites.  I estimate he's about 50-50 with his last minute table there.

    Good luck!
