LOVE moms panel, SO helpful! We will be at WDW Feb 12-18th, 2012. I am wondering about evening parade schedule and fireworks for that week? Also, if we eat at Crystal Palace, how much time should we allow to eat and get to the parade, can we watch nearby?

Hi, Charles! Thanks for the Moms Panel love! For all of your planning needs, the parade and fireworks information is available to you on Walt Disney World's website.  Simply go to and select the theme park you want to check from the menu at the top of the page. On the new page, select Calendar from the menu on the left. From the drop-down menu, choose the month you need to view, like February for you. When the calendar appears, the daily park hours and any Extra Magic hours will be listed. To view the parade and nighttime event schedule, simply click on the numeral of the date you are interested in attending. Repeat for each of the parks. All of the magic is at your fingertips!

I would allow at least two hours for your meal and finding a place to watch the parade.  The Crystal Palace is almost adjacent to Main Street U.S.A., but you will need to get your parade spot well in advance of parade time if you watch it from Main Street.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
