    Love the Panel and all the great advice! Was wondering if the free dining plan has typically been offered during the first week of January in previous years? Will be in WDW with DH, DD10 & DS6 from 1/1/12-1/5/12 and just trying to budget. Thanks!

    Hi Deborah,

    As with any Disney promotion, you never know when it will be offered. I generally recommend to guests to book the vacation they can afford now. If a promotion you want to take advantage of becomes available, call Disney back and ask if you can book the new promotion. They will change the reservation based on availabilty.

    I would sign up for emails with Disney as well as join their Facebook and Twitter sites as they like to release information to dedicated guests.

    The first week in January is a great time to go and you might still catch some of the holiday decorations up around the Walt Disney World Resorts.
