I LOVE this pane!!!l I feel very lucky to report a return trip, and was curious if Caribbean Beach Resort has upgraded to queen size beds? Additionally, should the pirate cruise for kids be booked in advance? Thank you for your help.

Hi, Rebecca! We love you, too! We are so blessed to be able to help other Guests plan their Walt Disney World vacations. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort began a major refurbishment in July 2014, and it's scheduled to be completed any day now, if it isn't already finished. During this time, all rooms (with the exception of King Bed rooms and the Pirate Rooms) were upgraded to queen-sized beds. Many rooms (but not all) will also now have the ability to accommodate up to five Guests, with the addition of a bunk-size fold down bed.

Yes, you will want to reserve the Pirate Cruise in advance. The number of children on each cruise is limited so that there is optimal interaction between the Cast Members and the Guest Pirates. They are often sold out well in advance. My kids count their Pirate Cruise as one of their favorite memories. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
