    Hi, I love this panel. My family of 5 will be visiting at the end of May 09 and staying at the Poly. We have a garden view room. Is this the same as a standard view? Also, when using the online check-in, can I request certain buildings? Thanks so much.

    Yes, a garden view room is the same as a standard view. Actually, the more honest way to think of it is like this;

    The "Standard" view is of any of the following; parking area, garden, pool, marina, or monorail. That is as per the Disney website.

    As to your second question, yes, with the online resort check-in you can request specific buildings. Of course there is no guarantee that you will get what you ask for, but it certainly can't hurt!
