Hello there! I love this panel! We are going to Disney for the 1st time December 14th - 18th. Would like to go to MVMCP, wondering how much are tickets and what is it? Is it just a parade or does it involve other things? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jennifer,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a party which happens on select nights at the Magic Kingdom in November and December.  Here guests pay an additional fee to have access to the Magic Kingdom from 7:00 pm to 12:00 pm.

Tickets range from $42 to $55 approximately per person based age and discount. During your stay, you can experience the party on December 14 and 16.  December 16 has a discount available for Annual Passholders as well as Disney Vacation Club Members.  You can start buying tickets now but they are non-refundable and non-transferable.

During the party guests are treated to a special parade, fireworks, storytelling and other magical events not offered during the day.  In addition, certain rides such as Space Mountain are open for your enjoyment.

Though I loved this event when I attended this past year, it is a lot of money.  If my children were any younger, I would not take them as it is a late night. My girls are 9 and 11.

Also, since it is your first time, you will have many wonderful things to experience and you may not want the extra expense this trip.  You will be amazed by the magic that is in the parks at this time.

Whatever you decide, I hope you have a magical vacation!
