Hi! I love your panel ! Going Disney for the first time with our 4 year old twin boys in May. We upgraded from a Value resort (ASM) to a Moderate (CBR). Currently there are no preferred rooms at CBR... Should I be concerned travelling with small kids?

    Hi Mira,

Thanks so much for the kind words. How exciting to be planning your family's first Disney World trip. Your princes will have an amazing time!

Hakuna Matata, no worries, regarding the Disney travels with small children. I personally think Disney World could be one of the easiest vacation locations to take children. The resorts and parks have something for all ages and offer plenty to keep even small children happy and entertained. A great number of the attractions are slow moving with no age or height restrictions. There are numerous attractions where the boys will be able to ride seated right next to you. The shows offer plenty of color and light and music that should keep the boys singing and tapping along. On top of all that, the boys will have plenty of chances to meet their favorite Disney pals.

The restaurants offer plenty of food options for even the pickiest child and except for a few of the fine dining locations, are very family friendly. There are also some fantastic kid play areas in each of the parks. You will enjoy a number of fantastic amenities and theming at Caribbean Beach Resort, and the boys will love the child spalsh pool with pirate ship.

Some locations you want to make sure to visit are Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, Playhouse Disney at Hollywood Studios and the Conservation Station at Animal Kingdom. You may want to visit www.allears.net under planning and then the topic families, you will find some great tips and information on traveling with younger children.

Most importantly, just remember to take your time and operate on the boys schedules. You will not be able to see and enjoy everything so don't try and overdo it. Enjoy!
