Hi! Love the panel. Considering staying at Polynesian for Nov trip. Would be me, hubs, 5 yr old twin girls (their 1st visit!) & my dad in Deluxe Studio Villa. Like kitchenette in room. Concerned about size for all of us. Can you provide feedback on spa

    Hi Jordan!

Excitement is building with Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows set to open in just one month! I was able to get a tour of the model rooms at the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center just last week, and I can tell you that the studio is beautiful. There are little Disney touches everywhere, from Hidden Mickeys to "Peter Pan" and "Lilo & Stich" inspired artwork.

You’ll be happy to hear they will be the largest Deluxe Studios in Disney Vacation Club. The other aspect that is helpful for larger families is the split bathroom setup. The first bathroom has a tub, while the second bathroom has a shower. With separate vanities in each bathroom, there will be plenty of room for everyone to get ready for a day at the parks or pool.

While I think your party can absolutely fit as a family of five into the Deluxe Villa, I do have some concerns. I think your overall decision probably needs to be based on the sleeping arrangements and your family’s personality. The pull-down bed will be the perfect size for one of your girls, but probably not a good choice for your hubby or your dad. Is grandpa willing to share a bed with a 5 year old? If so, you’ll probably be just fine, but if grandpa needs his own bed, you might have to be creative with your sleeping arrangements.

If you are interested in booking a room at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, I would recommend booking as soon as you are able, preferably right at the 7 month mark, as they are sure to be very popular with Members. If you do decide to stay there, I challenge you to find the Hidden Mickey in the carpet. It took my family an unusually long time to find it!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
