    Love the panel! We are coming to WDW in October. I would love to go to Spirit of Aloha Show. I know that pmt is due at time of ressie. What happens if the show is cancelled due to weather as far as another reservation and payment? Thanks.

    You are correct that advance payment is necessary to book the Spirit of Aloha Luau. You are also correct that this dinner show is outdoors and is occasionally canceled due to adverse weather conditions. This situation happened to me once; the show was canceled because of severe lightening on the night we had reserved. They offered to rebook us on another night during our trip or offer us a full refund. We had other plans for the rest of our trip, so they immediately posted a refund to our credit card.

    If you're concerned about being stuck with no dinner plans in the event of Luau cancellation, then my suggestion is that you make an alternate reservation elsewhere. You can hold that "just in case" reservation until closer to showtime and you see what the weather will be like. When you see that the Luau is going on as planned, simply cancel your other reservation.
