I love the Moms panel! We will be coming to WDW in November with our 2 boys who will be 1 & 3. What do you think will be easier for getting on and off the buses, 2 single strollers or a double stroller (we have the Baby Jogger City Mini Double)? Tha

My answer is the kind that everyone hates - 'it depends'.

If the two single strollers would be umbrella strollers, which are lightweight and fold very small, then I'd say the two single strollers would be better. If, however, the two singles would be more like travel system strollers, then I think you are better off with the double.

The reason I say that is because a travel system stroller, even when folded, is still relatively large and heavy. It's not the easiest thing to carry a small child and the stroller and whatever bags you might have as well, which two parents would have to be doing. If you used a double, however, one parent could grab the bag and stroller while the other parent carried the kids.

Umbrella strollers are really the best as far as buses are concerned. They are very easy to navigate and small and light enough that you could tuck it under your arm while you carry your child. Their downside is that they typically don't have cup holders or storage baskets underneath.

There's no perfect stroller solution that I have found. We've traveled with 3 children in strollers before, all heavy, bulky travel systems, and we made it work. You do what you have to do. But...it wasn't ideal. My husband and I were a bit grouchy with one another when it came time to board the bus at the end of a long day, and it was stressful to have to haul all of that while people were waiting on us. So there you go - that's my experience, and the background on why I recommend what I do.

    Good luck!
