LOVE this panel! Coming 20 days! We have ADR on 5/30 at Boma at 745. Will be at DHS that day. How long to get to AKL by bus and do we have time to dine and make it back to DHS for Fantasmic at 1030pm? Will the crowd at the later show be smaller? Thanks!

Hi Emily! How exciting that your trip is only a few weeks away! Generally, the crowd at the second showing of Fantasmic is smaller, making it a little easier to get in and find a seat without a super-long wait. Of course, you're visiting on Memorial Day weekend, which also happens to be Star Wars Weekend at Hollywood Studios, so the park will likely be fairly crowded that day and you may want to line up a little earlier than you normally would for a second showing of Fantasmic. The bus ride between Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom Lodge is about 20 minutes. Factor in about 10 minutes to wait for the bus, which means it will probably take you 30 minutes to travel between Hollywood Studios and Boma. Boma can often be quite crowded and I've sometimes had to wait a bit for a table, even with an ADR. However, if you're seated by 8 p.m., you should easily be finished with dinner by 9 p.m. since it's a self-serve buffet, and back at Hollywood Studios by 9:30 p.m.. That gives you an hour before Fantasmic starts, which I think is plenty of time to line up for the second showing, especially if you aren't picky about where you'll sit.

Hope this helps! Thanks for asking me your question! Hope you enjoy Boma and Fantasmic!
