    Hi. Love the panel. Coming back again Oct 2010. If you had to choose would you come the first full week or third week of oct. I have heard there are several large conventions going on in Oct. How would I find out so I could avoid those weeks?

    There is no official site where you can look up what conventions are being held. I have even tried calling the convention resorts, but that information is not for public sharing (just as I am sure none of us would want a hotel confirming if we were staying there either!).

    So there is no way to be 100% sure what conventions are, or are not, going on. But to your question of what week in the month of October, I would suggest the first week. The whole month is a great time, but the first week typically will have the lightest crowds of all four weeks.
