Love this panel !! Is it best to use a gift card or cash/travellers cheques or a mixture of both to pay for things like Souveniors, drinks, tips, etc. while @ WDW ?? What restrictions are there for the giftcard ? Can it be used to pay for everything ??

    Hi Tanya,

The option is really up to you how you want to pay for items during your trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts. Traveler's checks, gift cards, Disney Reward cards, credit cards and cash are taken at most locations including the small food carts. This really allows you a lot of flexibility to pay for items.

If you are at all concerned and are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can do what I do. I like to charge everything back to my room using my Key to the World card. If I have any gift cards, cash or traveler's checks, I simply head down the night prior to check out and pay my bill with these items. The balance is then billed to my credit card.

This helps reduce the number of items I need to bring with me into the park and eliminates the guess work as to how I can pay for a particular item.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
