Hi there, Zoe! Welcome to planDisney! You sound like a girl who likes to show her true colors. I often say, "Life is too short to wear white!" I'm happy to provide you with some groovy advice for planning your next Disney vacation.
One of my favorite tips is to schedule at least one rest day during your stay and make a point for some midday R&R at your Walt Disney World Resort. All Resort hotels offer poolside activities, but when I called Guest Services, they could not provide me with an official list; however, they did say that most (if not all) will have Mickey Tie-Dying several times per week. My kids have enjoyed participating in this activity at various resorts over the years. In my experience, Cast Members have the shirts already rolled with the elastic bands in place, so all you'll need to do to get started is pay and choose your shirt size.
When you check-in, I recommend looking for the recreation activity schedule board in the lobby for the latest dates, times, and pricing. Since you're still in the planning phase, you can also try doing an internet search for "Monthly Disney World Resort Recreation Calendars" to get an idea if there's a particular resort you have in mind. Other fun things that you can find across property are the nightly
Campfire Activities and the
Movies Under the Stars.
I hope you're able to bring home a Mickey masterpiece on your next trip, Zoe! Make sure to follow the
