I love making ADR for all the fun resteraunts & experiences. There are a few places I want to got for an appetizer/drink and watch the shows. Sci-Fi diner & Biegarten for example. Can you do this? Should I still make ADR?

    Hi Christy,

Any time you absolutely want to eat somewhere, you should make a reservation. In most cases, you're not required to order a certain amount of food or to consume an entree.

The Sci-Fi Dine-In is a popular spot for guests to go for drinks and dessert. The red velvet cheesecake there is super yum! You would be welcome to go for just an appetizer or dessert and watch the campy coming attractions.

The Biergarten is a different situation. This is a buffet restaurant. There is no way to get food other than the full buffet. You can't get just an appetizer or dessert there. It would be unusual to go there for just drinks because the beers served there are also available at the counter service Sommerfest just outside the main restaurant.

At regular menu-based restaurants, feel free to go and order as much or as little as you want. At buffet or family-style service restaurants, you really should have the meal to dine there.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need more help.
