Hi there, John! I'm a self-proclaimed Disney foodie, and I have a habit of asking servers for recipe cards after a satisfying meal. During a recent trip, I added
Le Cellier's Wild Mushroom Risotto to my collection, and I can't wait to make it at home! Next time you're in Epcot, try asking at the
Lotus Blossom Café.
In the meantime, if you do an internet search for 'Copycat Disney Recipes,' you're likely to find dozens of results (my favorite website is thedisneychef.com). This is how I found the recipe for the Honey Coriander Wings served at
‘Ohana that my son requested for his birthday meal. There was no mention of the Mongolian Style Beef Noodle Bowl from the Lotus Blossom Café, but I did see a recipe for their Orange Chicken. I also had some luck on the Dis Boards site for the Mongolian Beef dish served at
Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. I've tried this dish in person, and it's very tasty (and healthy) with peppers and broccoli. Last time I stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort, I saw some copies of
Pam Brandon's Disney Cookbook in the Fantasia merchandise shop (it's also readily available on the
shopDisney website). It's the number one item on my birthday wish list!
John, don't forget to try the copycat recipe for the Grey Stuff- it's delicious! Don't believe me? Ask the dishes!
