Love your help & panel!! We decided last minute to come to WDW but now I'm having a hard time to make fun reservations for my family. Only have 27 days. Hubby likes to eat at nice restaurants and have DD's 9 & 7 and DS 5, would also like fun place

    Hi Diane,

Even with short notice, it should be possible to have some fabulous dining experiences at Walt Disney World.

Since your husband likes fine dining, you should focus on the "Signature" restaurants. These are the gourmet venues, with excellent food, wine, and service. There are sitting services at Walt Disney World is you want some quality time with hubby for a nice meal, but small children are welcome at the signature restaurants if you prefer to bring them with you. I brought my own daughters to signature restaurants starting when they were bout four years old.

As for the kids, character meals are a must do. The ones that often have last minute availability are Garden Grill, Cape May Cafe, and Tusker House.

In general, you'll find more availability in the resort restaurants and more availability if you're willing to dine early or late. And don't forget that many of the counter service venues serve wonderful food. The fare at the country pavilions at Epcot is particularly good.

Please let us know what else we can do to help with your planning.
