hi love you guys on the panel. going to mnsshp on 9/4 me & dh dressing up as giselle & prince edward with adrs for cp @555 pm. is that to close to actual party. will it be easy to get around the park in costume? what is all going to be there going

    Hi Natalie and thanks!

How fun to be planning a night at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and what great costume choices.

It is part of our "family tradition" to dine at Crystal Palace prior to the start of the party. The party typically begins at 7pm and usually the parade and fireworks do not start before 8pm. You should have plenty of time to enjoy your meal and visit with Pooh and his friends before heading out into the park for a night of fun.

The restaraunt is located just off Main Street near Cinderella Castle, so depending on the parade start time, you could exit dinner and grab your parade spot in plenty of time. During the event, most attractions and stage shows will be open for your enjoyment, often with much shorter wait times. You will also find a few special shows going on that are not offered except during the party. The locations and times for these shows will be listed on the park map for that evening. This map will also indicate the numerous trick or treat locations throughout Magic Kingdom. The Disney characters will be all decked out in their Halloween costumes too and can't wait to pose from some fun family pictures.

No worries on your costumes, and many of the guests will be dressed and you should find it very easy to move around the park as long as the costume is comfortable. Remember it is often still very warm in early September so be sure the costumes are not to hot. Our first few visits to the party ended with the boys in t-shirts and shorts and me carrying costumes that were way to hot for the Florida weather.

    Wishing you a boo-tiful time!
