Love this forum. Great answers to the questions I've asked so far. It will be my 40th birthday on 4th July, I am guessing that WDW will be packed on that day! :-) What does WDW offer for people celebrating birthdays? Can I celebrate on another day? Tha

    Hi Vicky!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel! What a great way to celebrate your birthday! July 4th is one of my hands-down favorite days to spend in the Magic Kingdom because of the incredible fireworks display. I will be honest with you-it is incredibly crowded and the park has historically gone to capacity, meaning they stop letting guests in because there are already so many inside the park. At table-service restaurants, if you tell your server that you are celebrating a birthday, they will often bring you a cupcake to enjoy after your meal is finished (this is subject to change, but we've had many birthdays and cupcakes in the last few years). They don't check your ID, so you can celebrate your birthday on any day that you choose on your vacation. You can also order a custom bakery cake to be delivered to your restaurant (some restaurants don't participate, so check before ordering) on your special day.

If you have not already made advanced dining reservations (if you would like to eat at a sit-down restaurant on your birthday) already, don't delay-make those reservations today before they are all gone! I've already booked lunch for my July 4th trip!

Hope you have a wonderful birthday trip!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
