Good news! Vacations at Walt Disney World are one of the easiest for me
to plan as a vegetarian! Every restaurant I've dined at at Walt Disney
World has offered a vegetarian option. Even if I don't see anything that
looks yummy on the menu, I am sure to ask my waiter/waitress.
At the Magic Kingdom, here are some options that you might like to check out:
- Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square: In
addition to some very yummy salads, this counter service restaurant also
offers a great vegetarian chili and a Lighthouse sandwich with hummus,
tomato and broccoli slaw. If you're a pescatarian, there are also some
great fish options here!
- Baked Potatoes at the Liberty Square Market: if
you're looking for a quick snack, and don't know where to turn, this is
a great option! We love picking up a potato, having a seat, and people
watching! This is also a great option for many fresh fruit choices as
well.
- Pecos Bill in Frontierland also offers a vegetarian burger in addition to salads.
At Animal Kingdom, I love the
Yak & Yeti Counter Service. You won't see the vegetarian options on the printed menu, but just ask. My last trip, I sampled the sweet and sour veggies and can't wait to have them again!
At Epcot, there are tons of places to dine. Just about all the quick service restaurants around World Showcase offer vegetarian options and Morocco is one of my favorite places to dine. Be sure to check out Sunshine Seasons in Future World as well - they have the best options ever!
And, last, but not least - check out the
Backlot Express at Hollywood Studios. The Grilled Veggie Sandwich is a great option!
I hope this help! And remember, at any restaurant, all you
need to do is ask what options are available to for a vegetarian.
Enjoy!
