We love eating at The Plaza for dinner!! Can we order off the lunch menu for dinner? We enjoy the sandwiches for dinner. If it’s the dinner menu, we would rather get reservations for Tony’s Town Square

Hi, Jeanne, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I stopped by The Plaza Restaurant when I was at Magic Kingdom Park earlier today to ask about this for you, and unfortunately they said that lunch options are not available at dinner since the chefs swap out items during the shift change. Because of this swap, the dinner chefs don't have the same ingredients available to them as the lunch chefs do.

My family and I love lunch at The Plaza, too. The last time we were there, The Citizens of Main Street stopped by and named our daughter as Junior Mayor of Magic Kingdom Park. You would have thought she had been crowned Queen! She was so excited to wear her special blue ribbon around the Parks for the rest of the day. This little ceremony takes place around 11-11:30 a.m. each day, and one young Guest is selected for the honor of being Junior Mayor for the day. Each time I've seen a child selected, their smile absolutely lights up the room. It is truly a highlight of our Plaza lunches!

Should you choose to enjoy dinner at Tony's Town Square Restaurant, I would still definitely recommend The Plaza for lunch. Make sure you order The Plaza Restaurant Sundae for dessert, too; it's divine. (And it's available both at lunch AND dinner!)

Let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you, Jeanne. We hope to see you real soon.
