My love for Disney goes back to 1976 when I was two and we've gone about every other year since - I remember getting a brick outside of one of the parks with our family name on it - are they currently doing that anywhere on property?

    Hi Tammi,

My love for Disney started right around that time too and I'm so glad to hear you are able to make frequent visits to your favorite place.

Our family also purchased a brick as part of the Walk Around the World program. Originally the idea was for these bricks to create a path around the Magic Kingdom resort area. Unfortunately the program was discontinued back in the late nineties and I have not heard of any plans to offer this again.

The previously purchased bricks are still out for viewing and if you have forgotten where you brick is, you can stop at the information booth at the Ticket and Transportation Center for a map on where you brick is located. While it is not the same, I have heard rumors that Disneyland still offers a brick purchase program.

I would love for this to be offered again as our brick does not include the name of our two youngest children, which they remind me every trip we stop to visit ours.
