    We would love a character dining experience for a 5 yr old girl and another one that would work also for a 2 yr old boy. Our 5 yr old girl is afriad of characters at first so nothing too loud or in your face please. Thanks!


    For your 5 year old girl, the best solution is one of the Princess dining experiences. Not even so much because she is a girl, but because princess characters look like real people, not sports mascots with larger-than-life heads that can startle some children. This is a great way to 'ease into' the character dining experience. Restaurant Akershus is my personal favorite.

    You might put a few of these other character meals off until later in your stay, after the kids have seen some of the cartoon characters in the parks, at a distance that has made them comfortable with the concept of who they are, and what they represent. These are a few of my favorites;
