We love to camp with our large family. We have a 38' motorhome towing a 20' travel trailer bunkhouse. Are there camping sites at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground that will accommodate both? Or will we have to get two sites? Thank you!

Hi Katherine! I grew up camping at Fort Wilderness and I love helping others plan to do the same! There are four types of campsites, premium, preferred, full-hookup, and partial. The premium sites are designed for RVs 45 feet and longer with slide outs. These sites are wider than others, some up to 24 feet and up to 60 feet deep. They have water, power, sewer, cable, access to the high-speed Internet, picnic tables and grills and are located in prime locations.

Be sure to clearly specify requirements, including your motorhome length, if it has slideouts and the any other details about your travel trailer when making your reservation. They will advise you of your options and ensure an appropriate campsite is assigned.

Write back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation Katherine!
